The automotive companies invested many resources in marketing strategies and social media are an unexplored field where to test new techniques and establish a more direct relation with users and customers.
Best Car Brands On Social Media is the result of an accurate report about the official profiles of the main car brands, realized with the aim to measure their activities on three social media channels, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
The infographic data are calculated by proprietary tools which allow getting the engagement rate on social media channels; the time interval considered is 1st January 2013 – 2nd October 2013.
The engagement rate on Facebook was calculated with this formula: Likes + Comments + shares / Fans.
The engagement rate on Twitter was calculated with this formula: Mentions+ Retweets + Favorites /Total number of Tweets.
About YouTube channels, we used the overall number of videos, views and subscribers.
